About Mary

An International Strategic Leader / Organizational Development Executive with over 20 years of experience as a consultant, Mary D’Amato is a coach in the areas of leadership, communication, performance-based coaching, talent management, organizational development, and conflict management. She understands the importance of strong organizational systems and ensures you become the leader you’ve always wanted to be.


A Global Understanding

Being the CEO of Mary D’Amato Leadership Consulting, Mary works with business leaders to help them identify leadership, talent, team and management gaps. She guides them to create a strategic framework and a development program to address and correct these gaps.

This includes all industries, nonprofits and small businesses. She has a global understanding of the world as she has also lived in the Middle East and served clients in Qatar, Australia, China, Bermuda and the UK.

Mary also served as an adjunct faculty member at Cornell University, ILR, for 15 years where she taught Employee Relations, Advanced Employee Relations and How to Engage and Retain Employees as part of the University’s HR Certificate Program. She has also taught a Masters class on Coaching at Georgetown University and is often thought of as a People Strategy Consultant. She is currently lliving in Washington  DC
